Bits and bobs

Nothing fancy at all. Some pictures from this weekend.

Found some tiles for tiled top on the shoe cabinet (Ivar ikea, yup still love those cabinet and probably always will).

Picked out tiles and grout color, now need to place the order but the lady truly had me at ‘they’re shipped from Italy’. Without fail gets me every time. So simple like that.

Collected last bit of potatoes and tiiiiinnnyyyy carrots from our garden. A treat like few other in my book.

Our dog, old smelly so kind and goofy and annoying turning 14 September 8, and her new haircut from my mil. Stella looks like a big blond skinny rat, could not be a less flattering cut but it’s needed. It’s her last summer. People with dogs in general and people with kids and dogs, how do you all do it with loosing a pet and how and what degree do we best keep the kids through it pre and post? I have no experience with this but it feels important, that’s why I’m asking.

Got back into the bread game after a full summer hiatus. Love the bread, hate the process.

Made paper-mache with the kiddos on Sunday. For me, with them. Hehe. We made some nice bowls a fe years ago and I want try to make some this decor for the hallway. ‘Decor’. How do we feel about that word??
